I was put to design the 30th anniversary logo for MIX 105.1, a popular Orlando radio station. The goal was to create a clean, impactful design that honored the station’s legacy while aligning with its existing brand identity.
After several design iterations, the final concept evolved around the iconic “1” from the station’s original logo. I transformed the “1” into a flagpole—symbolizing a milestone achievement, much like planting a flag on the moon. The flag featured the year of the station’s founding, 1989, and was adapted for both horizontal and stacked formats to ensure versatility across platforms.
To support multimedia use, I also developed a simple logo animation for video content. The anniversary logo was prominently featured throughout the year across event signage, merchandise, and digital promotions.
