As of 2019, the female breast cancer death rate has dropped by an encouraging 42%, thanks in large part to earlier detection and significant advancements in treatment. Yet despite this progress, many women still delay or skip their annual screenings — often due to fear or lack of awareness.
That’s why the American Cancer Society developed the “Grab Your Girls” campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month — a bold, empowering initiative designed to inspire women to take charge of their health, together. I worked within a team to bring the campaign to life, taking on the role of lead video editor and animator.
The response was incredible. The campaign generated significant buzz and resonated so strongly with audiences that we relaunched it for Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2023. I was thrilled to expand the creative toolkit even further with fresh assets and updated content.
This project was more than a campaign — it was a movement. And being part of something that helped save lives through creativity and collaboration is something I’ll always be proud of.

I designed custom merchandise for our eStore and earned media channels.

Because social media was central to our strategy, I created a dynamic suite of assets — both static and animated — designed to stop the scroll and spark action. From bold visuals to heartfelt messaging, every element was crafted to resonate deeply and encourage women to prioritize their well-being.

We also created a digital signage display in Times Square helping extend the campaign’s reach even further.
