In 2018, FM 101.9 decided to host its very own alternative music festival in Orlando. As the in house designer, I was tasked with branding the festival and creating all the materials for it. I worked with multiple department heads to fulfill their vision for the Florida Man Music Festival.
We drew inspiration from vintage travel postcards and the Florida landscape, which resulted in a logo which can be used in many different capacities, with different stock images and custom illustrations embedded in the shape of the letters that we saw fit. From koozies to billboards, from stage marquees to social imagery, I created all the materials to bring this festival to life both online and offline, and after many months, the Florida Man Music Festival premiered on November 30, 2018 with 15+ bands and an outstanding attendance.
With its initial success, we returned in 2019 with updated imaging and lineup, and if it were not for the COVID-19 pandemic, we would have had an even bigger and more successful third year.
