I was responsible for conceptualizing and designing two Instagram-worthy photo activations for the 2020 Downtown Food & Wine Fest. The goal was to create engaging, on-brand experiences that would generate buzz and encourage social media participation.
The first wall was centered around wine and underwent several iterations before landing on a whimsical concept: a wine bottle pouring onto an umbrella. This playful, kitschy design resonated with festival-goers and proved to be a popular photo opportunity.
The second wall was designed to promote FM 101.9, Orlando’s alternative radio station. I created a concept that mimicked a backstage music scene, complete with a brick wall with their spray-painted logo, music gear, and onsite we even had custom-painted barrels. The setup provided a gritty, authentic feel that aligned with the station’s brand identity.
Both installations attracted significant guest engagement on Instagram and received enthusiastic feedback from the client.
